Which Position Should I Run?

The 6-position switch gives you flexibility for any situation:

• Position 1: Drive in Stock, in this setting - this will work just like your factory tune.
• Position 2: Hi-Idle Position is for cold starts or extended idle times. 1200-1300 rpm.
• Position 3: 50 HP is for drivers who need heavier towing.
• Position 4: 75 HP is a great general purpose tune designed for economy and lighter loads when towing.
• Position 5: 100 HP is a hotter performance setting designed for unloaded driving... Great power, throttle response, and fun to drive.
• Position 6: 140 HP is for drivers who need maximum power to go all out... will push the fuel system to its max, delivering high performance and really waking the truck up. We do NOT recommend towing with this setting.

Most owners run Position 3 or 4 for everyday use and bump it up when the want for more power is needed.

Will It Work on My Truck?

The TS Performance chip is compatible with 1994.5–2003 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine. It works with both automatic and manual transmissions.

Common Questions Before You Buy:

Will a chip hurt my engine?

When used as directed, no. The TS Performance chip is designed to work within safe parameters for the 7.3L engine. As long as the tunes on the chip are used as they are designed for the chip and its programs will work as advertised.

Do I need to disconnect my batteries?

Yes! If you do not disconnect your batteries, you WILL fry your chip and possibly the computer. Always disconnect the battery power. We are not liable for incorrect installations. If unsure, always give us a call at 270-746-9999.

Do I need any other parts?

The chip comes with everything you need for installation... the 6 position switch, TS Power Dial Decal, and Scotch Brite Pad to clean your J-Port. You will only need basic handtools, for disconnecting your batteries, removing the computer, and installing your switch for the placement you are wanting. 

What kind of power gains can I expect?

Results may vary by truck condition and the tune level you select, but most owners report noticeable improvement in throttle response, overall power, and fuel economy. All of the power settings are based on rear-wheel hp gain over stock.
